Interim Director of Delivery (Maternity Leave Cover)

Closing date:
4 April 2016
Job type:
Full time

Job type: Full time, fixed term for approx 11 months (July ‘16 - May ‘17)
Location: Sheffield, with frequent travel around the UK, mainly London
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

You are modern, visionary, analytical, collaborative, and you always deliver what you say you will. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make good things happen with digital.

Tinder Foundation is a charity which supports digitally and socially excluded people and our goal is to help at least 2 million excluded people to improve their lives through digital by 2020. We are seeking an exceptional leader to cover maternity leave for approx 11 months, to help us to achieve this goal.

Your role will be to deliver excellent outcomes, leading the teams who deliver products, projects and contracts, meeting targets and exceeding expectations. To do this you will lead the Digital, Learning, and Network functions on which our whole business relies. And, you will lead the Projects Teams that support and manage our programmes and projects.

As a member of the Senior Management Team you will help to guide the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring its sustainability, and the motivation of the team as a whole.

While this is definitely not a care-taking role, this is an interim post to cover for the maternity leave of the current post holder and as such you will need to build on her excellent work. We prefer you to work full-time and be based in Sheffield, however, to get the right person for this challenging and very important role, we are prepared to consider different working arrangements - we are more interested in your skills and experience and the fit with our organisation.
