Dr Ellen Helsper
Dr Ellen Helsper is Director of the MSc Global Media and Communications (USC) and Associate Professor in the Media and Communications Department at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She consults widely for governments, the third and commercial sector on issues to do with citizen and client engagement in increasingly digital societies.
Nick Mazzei is the Head of Digital Strategy for BT Corporate Affairs and has led on the development of a number of digital propositions for BT’s Purposeful Business goals. Nick joined BT in April 2014 into Openreach where he led on new digital systems designed to revolutionise Openreach’s network inventory records. Prior to that, Nick served 9 years as a British Army Officer serving in Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Afghanistan.
Jessica works in the Media Literacy Research team at Ofcom. She is responsible for managing Ofcom’s Adults’ Media literacy tracker, as well as a range of other market research projects. Jessica joined Ofcom in 2012 as part of the graduate scheme and became a permanent member of the Market Research team in 2014. She has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool.
Jess leads the work that Good Things Foundation does in Australia. She supports the team, connects with local, state, national and international stakeholders and most importantly ensures that we are building a strong, collaborative and supported network of great community organisations across the country. Jess is a community worker at heart and has lived in three states of Australia.
